GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON *.* TO monty@localhost IDENTIFIED BY 'some_pass' WITH GRANT OPTION;
then
ERROR 1045 (28000): Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)
I log in MySQL with root user. I don't set password to root.
I would like you to fix it.
