Change Wordpress Plugin Custom Post Type CSS to Match My Theme's Font CSS

I'm using a third party plugin called LearnDash on the Wordpress Theme - Salient. LearnDash uses custom post types but has it's own set of CSS. I want it to use my theme's CSS whenever I publish content using the plugin. Right now it doesn't match and I tried using Quick CSS with Firebug but couldn't get it to work.
This should be a very simple project for anyone who knows CSS.
I also should mention that any work done must not be to core code. This way I can update plugin and theme freely in the future without any issues. WORK MUST BE UPDATABLE.
