The website is already live and in use. It was built by a developer with django+python and javascript and sys admin, and knowledge of amazon web services. It needs a facebook plug-in (a like-box) for its home page which is also a main page of the site and stays in view wherever users navigate to on the site. The facebook like-box should be created right underneath the twitter icon that is on the bottom left of the homepage for www.topgov.org. The like-box should show facebook icons/pictures of some of those that like the site. It should show the number of facebook users that like the site. It should have a ‘like’ icon so visitors to the site can click immediately if they like the site. It should also have a ‘share’ icon’ so facebook users can share the site with their friends. It should also stream comments by those that like the site, if they leave comments. [url removed, login to view] already has a facebook page and it now needs a facebook like-box on its home page. I expect to need to generate a URL from facebook that will enable the like-box to be created.
