Create Pagination For Custom Post Type on WordPress Site

We are experiencing slow load times on our properties page. I think it has to do with the amount of properties it loads for the page.

We need to only display 9 properties per page load and have a nice looking and very visible pagination towards the bottom. I imagine we cant utilize the sorting buttons anymore. So we will need to create separate pages for those and and link those buttons to them now.
