Freelance Graphic Designer

We are seeking an experienced and creative freelance graphic designer/artist who will be working directly with the buying and creative team on art and layouts for a diverse range of custom products from apparel to gifts and branded product ranges.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

This is an incredible opportunity for an experienced freelance graphic designer. In this versatile role, you will participate in various projects and activities in support of the creative team. You will gain exposure to a wide variety of art styles, products and packaging.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

You will be responsible for:

• Meeting with Purchasing Director and buyers (re: direction for custom products)

• Graphic design, illustration and layout.

• Working in our offices and remotely meeting established deadlines.

• Providing work in production-ready format established at project assignment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The qualified Graphic Designer must have a minimum of 5 years of solid work experience, preferably within design and/or consumer product development. Expert skill using Adobe (CS5 or similar) – specifically, Illustrator and Photoshop. You must have general offset/digital printing prep experience. You must be flexible to switch gears quickly and efficiently, while handling multiple, concurrent tasks.
