Load an XML file into a virtual tour using Javascript

I have a KRPano virtual tour with a mapping functionality. Right now we have a script that allows us to manually input lat/long points so those locations show on the map. See example here (click the globe on the bottom): [login to view URL]
I need to update the script to pull this data from an external XML file so I don't need to manually enter it. Here is the script we are currently using:
