Website Update Job.
Bearfunk / Bear Entertainment is a record label. It signs music and releases it on physical and digital formats.
Bearfunk belongs to a group of record labels each of which releases different sounding music but uses the same back-end infrastructure.
The OLD website on www.bearentertainment.info. This is on an old server, uses old technology and needs to updated and refreshed.
The job is to copy the content over to a new site and refresh elements of the site.
There are no graphics that need to be done for the job. It is an HTML job. If we were doing this work internally it would take one of our developers 1 to 2 man days.
Personel / Team Requirements

- You should be familiar with what a record label does.
- You should be available on MSN and speak good English.
- You should be a consultant not part of a outsource company.
- You must have excellent HTML and have a good understanding of the Blueprints CSS methodology
- 20% commencement, payments as the pages get delivered via Escrow.
- Any bids MUST include sites that you have worked on before
- PLEASE DO NOT BID PER HOUR QUOTES, only for the fixed price jobs
Technical requirements

- The new template is which is on [url removed, login to view])
- Remove all references from the blog engine and recode all the text that was in the blog engine into flat pages on the new site.
- The site should be code in common / open HTML
- All pages in the future will be updated by technically aware people who edit via Notepad. As such everything should be coded with style sheets and DIVs. No format information (e.g. fonts) should be on the actually pages themselves
- The site is hosted on a Godaddy linux platform. No Microsoft technologies
- The sites MUST NOT be coded in HTML editors such as Front page which make them hard to edit because of all the extra stuff inserted.
