Please read the description and only place a bid when you fully understand our requirements, you are a experienced Magento developer who can create a solution that complies best practices for Magento development.
We are looking for a better checkout solution for our Magento store. What we need is a checkout with horizontal steps, a spacious responsive lay-out, live validation and a progress tracker.
The checkout should contain all standard Magento elements and consist of four steps:
1. Your details (customer name, email, phonenumber, shipping and billing address etc.)
2. Delivery (shipping method)
3. Payment (payment method)
4. Order summery
A small order summery should also be shown in steps 1, 2 and 3.
The live validation should validate input fields for the correct input and provide live feedback. For example like [login to view URL]
Also the emailaddress needs to be checked live, to see if the entered email address is associated with an account. If so a login link should be shown.
The checkout should be able to validate the customer's address through the '[login to view URL] extension': [login to view URL]
The checkout should be compatible with the popular Ultimo theme: [login to view URL]
Finally the checkout should be compatible with Magento version 1.8.1.0.
Preferrably we would like to receive the checkout in extension form so that we can upload the files to our staging server for testing.
