add new version of apache and php to wamp stack

I need a WAMP expert that can help me update my version of wamp on a windows system to include a newer version of apache and php that will work together. System already has wamp but its an older version. we are concerned about security and want to update the system over night when no one is using. I want to add the new version to the stack so I can revert quickly in the event that it breaks one of our app while we fix the app.
