I need a very light and responsive version of my website: it's an instagram klone with categories and user albums like pinterest.
My site was built on abandoned framework built on top of another framework (Yii 1) it has too many errors. custom framework is complex and prevents Yii to be upgraded.
There is NO need for upload or registration, because user register and upload from iPhone.
Only LOGIN ---- so users can add/delete comments, add/delete albums, like/unlike follow/unfollow, rearrange album, delete/edit post, and edit user profile, report violation, select album cover.
Admins can do everything but also see admin panel to delete or ban users, send message, see modules, add main categories, delete user album.
PAGES: (these pages use the same base template)
user profile page show albums
view post, view post under albums, likes, posts and view posts under main category pages --- all have the same template.

it has the same features, pages function like my website except MISSING:
grid layout, main categories, user album, select album cover, slideshow and of course template. Suggestion: build on top of current layout because current layout is responsive (for mobile).
Remove hide features like user registration and user upload.
Popularity rule
Homepage show popular posts, not newest posts. so the it needs a simple popularity rule: popular posts based on views, comments, and likes are move up in rank in homepage.
But to give newer posts a chance, to show in homepage. We set a time limit for popular posts. we set timer to start countdown from post date/time. after X time, popular post go down in rank.
IMPORTANT: When You place a bid. Please tell me which one you will do. start from scratch (what framework you will use) ---- OR ---- edit the phpmars script.

OOPS: use existing mysql schema for the project. for phpmars, you cannot use it's database you have to use current website's db because of iphone app.
