We have a WooCommerce installation (latest) on WordPress (latest) and the Flatsome Theme (latest) on our development domain. What we need is to enhance the WooCommerce Variable product functionality.
Our Situation:
We will offer around 280 products where every product should be customizable by 8 - 20 product options. The Product will have a base price, weight and measures and each option will change one of the three values or all (price, weight, measures).
The Problem:
Currently the WooCommerce Variable product system allows to create many product variations where each has an individual price and weight. But for us this way is not usable, as we will have 400 different product variations for a single product if our product has 20 options. With 280 products it will be 112.000 different variations to configure - and that's impossible.
What we need:
We need you to develop an add-on for Wordpress (WooCommerce) which will allow us to configure options for each products through the product editing page. Each option should have the possibility to have an individual price (positive and negative), weight (positive and negative), product measures, title, description and attribute field. The price and weight should be added/subtracted from the product base weight or price if selected, the measures replace the original product measures. The attribute field should contain the attributes the user can select for the particular product option, for example color (option): red | blue | yellow (attributes). The attributes from the attribute field do not have any impact to the option values (price, weight, measures) as if any of the attributes applied the option is "selected" and the option values should be applied to the product no matter which attribute is selected for this option.
For the front end the options should show up exactly as product variations currently do, with title, a description beneath and a drop down selection on the right side. Also the selected options should show up in the cart and everywhere else the product is shown during the checkout process and afterwards.
