Hello, I am looking for someone with experience in electronic ink screens.

I need a python function that will transform a 300x400 pixel grayscale image png to an array of hexadecimal values ​​in a format suitable for display on a Waveshare e-ink display. Looking at the page of the brand of the screen (Waveshare), after transforming each pixel into its hexadecimal format, it then applies an MSB compression. Going from 120,000 hex values ​​(300x400) to 7500.

I already have the function in arduino. I just need the function in python that transforms the image.

I am attaching a .cpp file containing the list, to use as an example. It is the one that comes by default in the demo screen. If you wish, I can also send it in a txt file for your ease of opening the file.
