Objective:
Develop a gamified music app, TrackSmash, promoting friendly competition and music discovery. Users and artists can initiate and vote in battles between tracks or artists.
Timeline and Budget: The project is expected to be completed in 90-days for no more than $3000. The budget is a hard ceiling.
Features:
Song/Artist Battles: Users or artists can start a battle by selecting two songs or artists.
Artist Challenges: Artists can issue challenges to competitors, seeking more votes for their song.
User Challenges: Users can create their own battles and invite others to vote.
Leaderboards & Achievements: Display top-voted songs and artists, and successful challenges. Users earn achievements based on participation.
User Profiles: Users can create profiles to monitor their battle participation.
Social Integration: Battles can be shared on social media platforms to encourage participation and stimulate discussion.
Notifications: Users receive updates on new challenges, upcoming battles, and results of battles they've participated in.
Artist Profiles: Artists can display their songs, albums, upcoming events, and battle history, sourced from Spotify.
Voting & Commenting: All users can vote on battles and comment on challenges.
Artist Comparison: TrackSmash provides side-by-side comparison of competing artists, using Spotify and SoundCloud data.
Landing Page:
This dynamic page showcases popular battles, top winners, trending and featured artists. Key sections include Top 10 Battles, Top 10 Winners, Hottest Artists, Featured Artists, Latest Challenges, and Trending Discussions.
Admin Features:
User Management: Admins can view, edit, manage, activate, or deactivate user profiles.
Artist Management: Admins can manage artist profiles, edit information, or remove profiles violating terms of service.
Content Moderation: Admins can monitor, approve, or remove content violating community guidelines or terms of service, with automated alerts for potential violations.
Challenge Management: Admins can remove user or artist initiated challenges.
Analytics Dashboard: Admins can view key metrics, such as total number of users, active users, initiated battles, and votes cast.
System Settings: Admins can modify system settings, including updating community guidelines, setting challenge duration, or updating artist comparison metrics.
Notification Management: Admins can manage and send platform-wide notifications.
Tech Stack:
