I am looking for someone with experience in using VMWare's vCenter Converter.

We have 2 servers (one for web, one for database), both running Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5 (Tikanga) Redhat.
We need to create a "test environment," so...
I decided to install VMWare's vCenter Converter 4.0.1
Support docs here:

...this allows one to export a live machine as a "Virtual Machine" on to an external HardDrive which can then be run from Windows/Mac machines.
Using Secure VNC, I opened Terminal on the local machine, SU'd as "root," then I installed and ran the program.
(I am not very knowledgeable about Linux, but I got this far.)
Everything looked good, but when I try to select the "Source" as the local machine, I get the error message "Unable to query the live Linux source machine."
(It specifically says you CAN use the local powered on Linux machine.)
I looked for help online and noticed some people mentioned that if the SSH isn't configured properly that it can cause this error message. That's above my head, so I'm looking for help.
For the right person, I believe this could be completed very, very quickly.
