Hello,
We are a business that sells footwear and are looking for a creative multimedia editor to work on a variety of projects on a case-by-case basis. To be clear, our main goal is to sell footwear products through direct response advertisements - mainly on Social Media. We’ll be providing all the necessary content (images, videos, etc.) Also, I’ve done photo/video editing myself so I’ll make sure any requests are reasonable for you.

What are we looking for in an ideal candidate? Ideally, we’d like for you to present us your portfolio of work. Please highlight any items related to selling a product through direct response marketing, but know it’s not required. Same for showcasing Social Media content. Primarily we’re looking to see your potential. As you’ll see from reviews past freelancers have given me, I work to be very clear with briefs, communication, and fairness to anyone I work with. I know many of you have to deal with clients who don’t know what they want and ask for endless amounts of edits -- to be clear, we will not be doing that. I imagine most projects would only require 1-2 rounds of edits at most.
The type of work you may be asked to perform for Video and Image editing include:
1. Lighting Correction
2. Motion Graphics
3. Special Effects
3. Color Correction
4. Basic Audio Editing
5. Video Subtitles
6. GIF Creation
7. Sourcing B-Roll (we will buy for you)
The primary platforms you’ll be designing for include:
1. Facebook
2. Instagram
3. YouTube
4. Website
5. Possibly Email
This first project will be a sort of test and will have plenty more freelance work provided the final delivery is sufficient. It’ll be primarily designing a features and benefits advert on Facebook/Instagram for one of our products. We have existing ad copy and imagery for you to reference so would be pretty straightforward.
