Design an events calendar and an events registration platform
- that allows for events to be easily added to the calendar
- that automatically refreshes the calendar as the event is added
- that allows participants to click on an event showing in the calendar
- that allows participants to see brief events details in something like a tag cloud as they pass over the event in the calendar
- allows participants to click through the cloud or the calendar to on-line event registration
The calendar needs to be designed and embedded in a blog site running on www.squarespace.com. Platforms I have looked at include Jevent and Spongecell.
The event registration platform needs to
- contain details of the event, venue, location, accommodation, email acknowledgement and functions that allow additional and subtraction of offerings
- needs payment facilities including Paypal and direct bank deposits, manual credit card facilities
- needs to contain email communication options with registrants
- needs to contain proper event reports
I have an event management and registration platform that I had built that perhaps can be used as the basis of the platform. I have an existing account with [url removed, login to view] that has been very good that I would like to replicate if possible. Its features and functions work well. I want to change because it is costing money for each participant and as the business develops I may want flexibility in the platform.
The event registration site particularly the payment facility needs to allow for payments from a separate an e-Learning site built on a Moodle platform.
I am looking for the integration of these functions into a neat and easy user experience
