Marketing, especially performance marketing, has become one of my primary qualities. Growing the sales segment I was in charge of by a factor of 15X over the last three years was possible due to impinging copywriting and an ability to think things through from a customer perspective.
Well over three decades as an executive in Marketing and Sales for a publishing house have been an exciting opportunity to get a broad view of these fields. Dealing with all aspects in detail and doing it all hands-on provided interesting chances to make it all work through projects, adding project management to the skills.
That includes remote project management for the development of websites, running a team of software developers.
Since 2018 my focus was on Marketing Strategy, digital marketing, and copywriting. That included a really in- depth familiarity with everything in Facebook and Instagram advertising. I have the bird-view as well as the know- how of the technical details of the field.
Organizing a presence at hundreds of book fairs, again with hands-on action, as well and book launch events, and press conferences, is another part of the experience.
