I'm a very enthusiastic developer of modern, dynamic and responsive web applications mainly using PHP + nginx, nodejs, jQuery and the HTML5 Canvas. I graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in BSc (Hons) Computing Informatics in 2005 and spent the next 7 years building my career with local web development firms. Just over a year ago I decided to leave my Senior Developer role and move into freelance work so that I could focus more on projects of interest to me and to allow myself time to develop my own projects. I love technology and am always keeping up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques. I'm currently building my own browser based multiplayer game relying heavily on the use of the latest HTML5 and CSS3 standards as well as a nodejs backend for real-time push updates. I've dabbled in Android development with a couple of quick applications of my own and this is definitely an area I intend to move into alongside web development. Nothing is impossible.
