竞赛简介

We are a small indie studio working on an ancient strategy game. We are looking for an illustrator who could make small-and-quick illustrations for pop-up windows in the game (small image accompanying a text explaining various game events).
The number of illustrations is quite high (at least one hundred) so we look for someone who is able to work with us on a longer term.

Detailed description and reference images will be always provided for each illustration, the illustrator however can suggest a different image if he sees it fitting the event description better.
We don't expect a high level of detail due to number of illustrations and our tight budget:)

This contest is just for the first illustration of the whole set to find an illustrator who would meet our requirements. The price for the rest of the illustrations will be 5 USD per illustration. Please upload only illustrations in such a quality that you can maintain for the whole set within the set price. Be also aware of the time spent on one illustration, the price is per image not per hour.

The actual size of the illustration can be relatively small but it cannot be less than 200px * 200px. It should be a square illustration.

Ideally, the "feel" of the illustrations should fit the style of the existing custom-made illustrations - see below. The level of detail is much higher as they are used for the major game events and so displayed frequently. We don't expect such a level of detail.

Please keep in mind that this is just a reference image. We are not looking for some modifications of this image but a person who will be able to illustrate similar illustrations. All the modifications of this image will be automatically removed from the contest.

      Hello,
      you probably can draw it freehand and scan it afterwards, but if there are any changes required, it would be very difficult to do.
      We definitely prefer digital
