Changes to opencart store

We have an existing and functioning opencart store that contains a large number of items. We need some fine tuning to the way that our javascript accordion menu works. We have a good structure and seo urls and we need someone experienced to make the final changes to get our site 100% right.
There are some slight tweaks needed as some objects display a little ugly in ie and there are some basic styling issues to address.
Please tell me about your experience in javascript menus and fine tuning them- website examples please.
We are a great freelance employer and have great communication and patience.
Next step for us is to sell this website to others so this work will be ongoing for the right freeelancer.
