"Do a market research about 3 most successful sock brands in the world. The criteria for judging how successful a company is are the following:
1. Revenues (post-tax income has to be positive) from sock sales
2. Number of Facebook Likes, followers on Twitter, Instagram
3. Number of affiliate partners i.e. shops / wholesalers / resellers / franchises
4. Celebrity endorsement
The research has to be structured in the following manner:
I. Presentation of selected top three companies. This section will show how each business is doing with regards to above 4 success factors. Bio information on each company will include: year founded, founders, starting capital, shareholders, llc / self employment / partnership?, where does the company produce its socks"
II. Current sock offering, prices, sizing, male and female?, countries where socks are being sold, how many stores stock their socks, how many socks are sold to what age group (18-25,25-40,40-50, 50-65), sales online and sales offline
III. In which media the company is present, sample advert from each medium the company advertises in, how the socks are marketed? Example of most successful marketing campaign,
IV. profit margin, admin costs, advertising costs, production costs, transport costs, payroll costs
How we'd like to receive the answers:
1. Every information has to have it's source provided.
2. If an answer is subjective - please provide the reasoning
3. Companies eligible need to had started as socks brand only or at least 1/4 of their revenue comes from sock sales or socks contribute at least 1/4 of unit sales volume (e.g. company: Happy Socks)
