I need an Adobe air ane extension to play videos on Stage3d textures, using AVFoundation fo IOS and any other tecchnology for android.
It must be capable of playing from 1 to 4 videos simultaneously. (IOS, Android)
The main focus is **performance**, the software must transfer the image buffer to the gpu in an efficient way.
It would be very desirable to enable h264 hardware decoding, but we know there might be some difficulty in playing simultaneous videos.
The acceptance test is to be capable of playing at 30 frames per second two movies at the same time at the resolution of 1024x768, 6000kbps, one at the top and other at the bottom of an ipad 2 in portrait position (in two stage3d planes, of course).
The enconding can be vp6 or h264.
