We have a form for submitting dates and a few other parameters to a third-party booking reservation system for a hotel property. The form is currently embedded into the page of a WordPress + DIVI theme website using an iFrame and works fine using that method.
In order to implement cross-domain conversion tracking with the 3rd-party booking platform, we need to convert the iFrame-embedded form into a form directly on the page (contained in a DIVI code module), so that form submissions which load the 3rd-party website will decorate the form submission URL with the necessary Google Analytics Client ID required for transferring the session information to the secondary domain (which does not occur when the form is inside an iFrame).
We have attempted to do this ourselves by parsing the source code of the iFrame-embedded page to load the jQuery libraries, form CSS, form HTML and form scripts, however we cannot get the form scripting to work on the page (date picker, field value increment-decrement, and form submit scripts).
We need someone who can take the provided iFrame-embedded page code and supporting CSS/jQuery/on-page scripts and provide them in a format for creating the form directly on the WordPress page, trouble-shoot the scripting so that it works on the page, and provide guidance on how/where to load the supporting CSS and jQuery libraries so they work as desired.
Given the objective of this project, expertise with implementing cross-domain Google Analytics will be a definite plus.
