Issues with mailbox on the server

Outgoing emails from the server work well, however when someone responds to email or sends an email from another server to the receiver, it gives them this error:
sorry, no mailbox here by that name (#5.1.1 - chkuser)
Need this to be fixed ASAP. Only someone who is expert in this must bid.
