Pusher chat with React Native

Developers with experience on React Native with Pusher SDK.

Goal: build and integrate a 1 on 1 chat to our React Native app using Pushere

TASKS

Interfaces for the chat are already in place and integrated to the app.

The work consist in build the integration from Pusher React Native SDK to the frondEnd application

Milestone 1

a) Send one on one message in real time using pusher

b) New chat button is listed in our “list of users screen” (list of users screen will be provided). That’s how we start the chat with another user.

c) Send us an apk and a ipa file(or another method for testing) for us to validate.

Milestone 2

d) Implement Offline Friendly

e) Message sent shows the timestamp

f) See the status online offline of each user

g) See the read receipt of the message when the message is read

h) Send an image (picture)

i) See the list of last chats (chat history screen)

j) Chat history can search by name (last chats initiated)

k) Send a push using onesignal when the user is not in the app. Or always for Android and IOS.
