Web Service or JAVA Library (component) development

We need to develop a functionality which will:

1) Enable to send a command Delete / Copy / Move to 3 systems

2) the 3 systems are : FileSystem (NT/Windows); SharePoint, Microsoft Exchange

?

From the workflow point of view it should work like this :

- we have an application which will display the list of documents in

? SharePoint, Exchange and FileSystem

- we also hold an information about the location of the document (sort of a pointer)

- next to each document name we want to have some sort of an "Action Button"

- when a user clicks on the button it will offer him/her the action list (Delete, Copy,Move)

- depending on the selection the appropriate action should be initiated

- as for the Copy / Move we assume that a user will have the ability to

Copy/Move data between repositories (so e.g. from SharePoint to FileShare

and vice versa)

As for the language and the design we are flexible. It can be a WebService

but then we need some JAVA interface to it.

Ideally it would be developed as JAVA library (Component) that we can plug in

to our JAVA based interface.
