· Expertise in developing topology optimization to achieve lightweight structural design, including algorithm advancement, in-house program development, numerical verification and engineering application.
· Expertise in applying topology, topography, shape and size optimization to solve practical engineering problems to reduce the weight, improve the performance, and shorten the development period.
· Expertise in performing multi-disciplinary optimization (MDO) to achieve an optimal design by incorporating all relevant disciplines simultaneously.
· Expertise in nonlinear implicit and highly nonlinear explicit FEA analysis, including geometry-nonlinearity, material-nonlinearity, and contact-nonlinearity. Familiar with FMVSS 202, 207, 208, 301, ECE R17 et al.
· Expertise in NVH analysis, including problems with fluid-structure interface (FSI), preloading, and/or pretension.
