Collapsible Navigation for Html Based Shopping Cart

I am converting a ZenCart to a shopping cart based on RomanCart.

The ZenCart can be seen at:

The RomanCart, just beginning, is on:

Because there are about 500 products in countless categories, the navigation is a bit challenging.

I would like very beautiful, clean, navigation that works on somewhat the same basis as the links on the left of the current cart. I believe this is called collapsible navigation. There is an example on one of my sites:
