We have about 90 websites running off 7 databases stored on MicroSoft SQL Server 2008. We currently have all 7 databases stored on a shared server. We would like to move the databases to a new server that already has SQL server 2008 installed. This should be as simple as detaching the databaseses, copying them to the new server and attaching them there. After the databases are migrated we would like to have all the connection strings in the web config files updated to reflect the new location. The websites are located in two directories on our web server. I need this done in the off hours for our clients. The ideal time would be around 2 AM EDT (New York Time). In order for the project to be considered succesfull there can be no database connection errors from our websites after the migration and the migration must be completed before 5 AM on the next business day.
** I will provide access to our firewall and the two servers in question.
