I'm seeking an expert to design and implement an interactive touchscreen display system with midi keyboard that will serve an educational purpose for museum visitors of all ages.
Requirements:
- Develop an engaging and intuitive user interface in in a first of two steps (second optional)
- 1st step renew and update a working system (current version available) based on "open office show"
- update layout
- update content
- update multimedia functions
- Capable of displaying cross-generational content in a modern and interesting style
- Incorporate a diverse mix of multimedia elements
- 2nd step (optional) develop the system on a more professional basis with a content management system
Content to Include:
- Text-based information for in-depth learning bilinguals (germand / englisch)
- Engaging images and illustrations
- Captivating videos and animations
- Interactive elements to encourage participation
- musical midi integration
Ideal Skills:
- UI/UX design for interactive displays
- Graphic design and multimedia integration
- Strong understanding of educational content development
- Ability to work within a given timeline and budget
- basic midi instrument knowledge
Experience:
- Proven track record with interactive displays or educational technology
- Portfolio showing multimedia work
- Experience engaging broad age groups through technology
This project is at the intersection of technology and education, and I'm excited to see innovative approaches that will enliven our museum's offerings.
I have an open office based full functional working version as a basis for the first step (pdf see attachment - other attachments: 2. Stylesheet Museum, 3. Photo of the sister System in different Museum. The sound engine ist ni Kontakt. The aim of the system is making old instruments playable for everybody and get multimedia informations about the instruments and the collections of instruments in the museum in Hamburg Germany. The display shall be in German and English and should be open for later integration of more instruments and content.
