CAE/Finite Element Analysis for Patented Helmet Technology

We have a patented impact absorbing device for use in helmets, shoes, etc. The main structural features of our “cell” include a closed air/fluid filled system with communicating fluid filled chambers with surrounding annular elastic filaments, along with a second surrounding working fluid surrounded by a flexible shell made of a specific elastomer. These structures work together during a collision/impact prolonging the time of deceleration.
We currently have CAD of our design and are looking to run some analysis in order to test and maximize its functions before making a physical prototype. We would like to test different materials (elastomers) and air pressures.
