VB6 - Excel Data Recovery Software(repost)

Please create a program that will be able to recover Excel files that have been corrupted. To simulate, create a new Book1 and put some data in it. Open in Notepad and add some characters to it, save, and see how much you can recover. I need the software to be as sophisticated as [url removed, login to view] as possible.
