Connect PayPal to Google Sheet (Facebook group)

We have a private Facebook group and the members pay us via PayPal for access to it.

What I need is some kind of solution created that can help manage the subscriptions to make it easier for us to add/remove people from the group based on whether they have paid or if they canceled their subscription etc.

I presume that we will need to work the PayPal API to monitor the transactions and continually update a Google Sheet with the status of every person who has subscribed - whether they have cancelled their subscription, if it has been renewed etc.

Facebook unfortunately don't have an automated way for us to manage the group according to active subscriptions etc. so we want to explore ideas on how to manage this more efficiently.
