avoid downloading same file twice

hello everybody,

i run a filehosting site which is rapidly growing. right now people can view movies in their browser and they also have the ability to download that movie.

my script uses random directories to avoid hotlinking, like /8943894895546653/video/[url removed, login to view]

after the video has been downloaded completely in the winmedia plugin and people want to download the movie, it gets downloaded over again.

i dont understand why because embed scr and download url are exact the same!

i hope someone can help me with this because i can't find an explaination. i need a solution as soon as possible because this is causing double bandwidth usage right now and its slowing down my server.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
