Cashback Search Engine(repost)

A single web page that will contain a search box.

The search box will offer instant suggestions as the user types exactly like Google Suggestions.

The suggestions would come from a combined and merged list of stores from the [[url removed, login to view]][1] and [[url removed, login to view]][2] sites.

Upon making a selection, the web page would display the store name and the current cashback percentage offered on both sites.

In order to have a local list of store names stored, a script should be created to crawl the above sites and update an xml or text file with a list of store names without duplicates. The script will be executed manually a couple of times a year to capture any new stores added to their sites.

The search box suggestions should be sourced from this xml or text file.

Upon selection of the store name, the page should display the store name (stored locally via xml) and the current cashback percentage offered for both websites. A real time call needs to be made to get the most current cashback percentage. I do not want to store this cashback percentage locally because it often gets updated.

The cashback percentage should be a link that will link to store page on the cashback site. For example, if "Nordstrom" is selected, it should go to <[url removed, login to view]>

Ideally, the page should not perform a refresh to display the results.

If a web programming language is necessary, it would be done in ColdFusion.
