This is a quick, simple and fun project for someone with good, working PHP/MySQL knowledge. You’ll integrate two existing PHP/MySQL software applications to make a site function like http://CouponZap.com. The project is essentially a "self serve" site for businesses wishing to send marketing messages to their customers by sms. The site will integrate a mailing list management program with a custom script that converts cell phone numbers to email addresses.

## Deliverables

This is how the project should function after your work is completed. While this does not serve as a technical basis for how the project should be completed, I want you to know what the end result is, so you can check your work and make sure it meets these basic guidelines before submitting the final product to me for testing. You will integrate two existing scripts two provide the back-end functionality for a website similar to [url removed, login to view] You will not have to do any front-end web design work, etc… Just basic PHP/MySQL integration. SCRIPTS TO INTEGRATE 1. [url removed, login to view] (Fully-featured email mailing list management software) ??" Will provide full source and test environment. 2. SMS-to-Email Conversion Script (Allows a user to enter their mobile phone number, select their mobile carrier and the script will translate their phone number to an email address where they can receive SMS messages on their phone.) This script already converts mobile phone numbers to email addresses and has updated mobile carrier / country code SQL tables. It just needs to be integrated with ListMailPro per the requirements below. These scripts will be integrated together so advertisers can put subscription boxes on their sites asking for a user’s name, cell phone number and carrier, then the phone numbers are translated to an email address and subscribed to a ListMail Pro mailing list, which allows an advertiser to send short messages to their opt-in SMS lists through ListMailPro. CUSTOMIZATIONS: 1. You’ll have ListMailPro populate a database table each time an advertiser sends a “broadcast?? to their SMS opt-in list. This table will contain a copy of the message sent out, a timestamp of the broadcast and the number of subscribers the message was broadcast to. (This would be used for billing advertisers for each SMS sent out.) 2. You’ll have ListMailPro check another table before an advertiser can send out a broadcast message. This table contains information on how many “message credits?? the advertiser has. An advertiser can either have “Unlimited?? credits or a specified number. If the number of users the message is being broadcast to is greater than the number of message credits the table indicates the advertiser has, they should see a page telling them they do not have enough credits to send the message. (This page should be an HTML template file so it can be customized.) When a broadcast is sent out to an advertiser’s list, ListMailPro should deduct the appropriate number of credits from the advertiser’s account. 3. The code of ListMailPro should be changed so that instead of generating HTML code (for an advertiser to put on their web site) for an email subscription box, the subscription box would contain a field for a phone number and a drop-down box letting the user select their mobile carrier. The [url removed, login to view] script for ListMail pro should be changed so that it translates the phone number + mobile carrier into an SMS email address (using bits of code from the email-to-SMS script I provide.) 4. The compose screen for ListMailPro where an advertiser composes a message to send to their list should show a box that shows how many characters are left before their message is too long (maximum SMS length is 160 characters) 5. The main administrator (who manages all advertiser lists and master settings in ListMailPro) should have the ability to give more credits to a user or deduct credits from a user’s account (or upgrade their status to unlimited.) (i.e. when an advertiser pays for more credits, the admin should be able to login and give them more credits per their payment.) The main administrator should also be able to send out broadcasts to any list (whether it’s their own or an advertiser’s list) without it counting against that advertiser’s message credit quota. HOW IT WORKS Because ListMailPro allows multiple administrators (i.e. where each administrator can manage their own list), this script is ideal for multiple advertisers. Each advertiser would be able to access their own list(s), and no one else’s, and fully manage and schedule message broadcasts to their SMS list. 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables):

a)? For web sites or? other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software? installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
