An android application that will periodically receive ibeacon messages from a bluetooth low energy device using the serial protocol profile (SPP). Using the information in the ibeacon packet, the application shall display an icon on a widget (like canvas) to show the a tablet’s location on a grid. Also based on the ibeacon, the application shall retrieve data already available in a database (SQLITE), which will be used to retrieve an image and display it in an image widget. The application shall also use the cameras on the device to scan barcode labels, and based on the barcode, retrieve data from the database and store it in a list, which can be displayed using a list widget.
