I am designing a site to mimic the functions of this one: [login to view URL] The site must be database driven. Inn owners will be able to sign up as members. They will then receive a password to upload their information and a photo. Viewers will be able to search inns by location and amenities. I will be developing the graphics and site template.

It sounds like u will be doing the web-site and need help with the DB, what webserver do u have(IIS/apache/??) depending on that u can proceed with the development, checking for password and stuff is not a big deals once you have your environment defined you could go with IIS/ASP and SQL server on the back or mySQL, secured server?? and so on ... depends on the size of your intended audience.
