CONSIDER THE WAY THAT SOCIAL POLICY DEBATES AND THE OUTCOMES OF 21ST CENTURY RESTRUCTURING OF THE AUSTRALIAN WELFARE STATE MIGHT AFFECT A SELECTED POPULATION GROUP (TO BE ADVISED). Define the population group with reference to demographic and social factors. Identify the relevant social policy domains (income security and one other). Explain their relevance including benefits and limitations. When considering these policies - you should also use Jamrozik's welfare state/post welfare state comparison and his theoretical framework for social policy analysis. You may use media representations of the group as examples. Conclude by predicting future issues faced by the group under current policies (you may suggest solutions, however they must be realistic).
