Well, im proficient with both acrylic and watercolor and have been doing realistic works for the past 6 years. i think myself to be skilled in both the mediums and i follow the most important aspect of painting is the preservation. i have been using acid free archival quiality materials for the past two years now. Therefore i can confidently say that the artwork will stay intact for 15years to say the least. *environment/climatic conditions do matter
