Business Blog Writer

For the past two years, I have been writing about business and entrepreneurship for newspapers in Canada as part of three different column series'. One of my pieces, related to the struggles of rural business owners, was a runner up at last year's Provincial newspaper awards for the best Editorial with a business topic. Outside of my writing career, I also work in the field of community economic development, so business retention and expansion, entrepreneurship and similar topics are all part of that mix. For me to write a weekly blog about this subject matter would be an easy assignment for me as this is work that I am already keenly familiar with.
