My understanding is that the project requires core skills in accounting and the use of computers. I propose to use Microsoft Excel to do the job analyzing data in terms of correlation and trends. Data analysis in this case may involve the classification of transactions into say account groups before further processing. This may include trends analysis, graphs, comparisons, commentary etc. The data provided can further be compiled into financial statements starting from trial balance, income statement and then balance sheet. Further analysis of outcomes can be made using trend analysis, comparisons and ratio analysis as applicable. I will be able to provide a more specific work outline but the above is may understanding of projects needs on the basis of the project outline given.
