Data Entry from RUNEW PDFs (Russian langauge required!)

Here is the task: 1. Download this file: [login to view URL] warning about 450mb. 2. There are two "big" master PDFs there and two subfolders which contain "split" versions (1 page per pdfs) of these. Some unnecesary "split" pages have been deleted. 3. There are also two excel files. Your task will be to complete the excel files with the contents of all the individual PDFs. 4. What does it mean to complete them? In each excel file there are three columns: COLUMN A: this is the number of the "split" file. look in the split folders and you'll see what I mean. COLUMN B: this is the 4-letter ICAO code of the corresponding airport. THIS DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE ON THE PDF ITSELF but you can look this up. A good site for looking this up is www.PilotNav.com. You might also find it using wikipedia or other sources. It is not hard. If you really can't find it for a given airport, put "???1" for the first one you can't find, "???2" for the second, and so forth. COLUMN C: this is the "description" of each of the files. You will see I did the first two in each xls. Note how the description is in RUSSIAN (Cyrillic) CHARACTERS. The easiest way to get "column C" is to open the BIG PDF files. Look on the left side in the "table of contents". You should see the descriptions there. NOte that we don't need the things like "B-1" that precede each description - we just need the description itself. you might be able to extract the table of contents from the 'big" pdf if you are clever. there is almost certainly no way of automating the entering of the 4-letter airport ICAO codes. Your task is to return to us 2 excel files, complete. If you run into 'blank' or meaningless PDFs, don't include them in the excel. Just skip them.
