We would like to hire a freelancer to enter some data into a spreadsheet. The target website that we would like to take the data from is: [login to view URL] Go to the site and click on Advanced Search then click on 'Business type' and select 'Takeaways / sandwich shop' then click on 'Area' and select 'North West' There should be 6,798 premises that are found. We require the following information: Business Name Business Address Business Telephone number. You will have to search the internet in order to get the telephone number. You can do this by using the business name + postcode (example: 243 Sandwich Bar FY5 1RA) so that you can get the phone number to add to the spread sheet. We would like all data to submitted in a spreadsheet with the 3 columns; name, address, phone number. For the first part of this project we would like to run a test and pay the freelancer for 50 hours to see how much data we can enter into the spreadsheet in 50 hours. If the test is feasible then we will employ the freelancer for his time to enter the data for the full; 6,798 premises. Best Regards, Carl.

I've done numerous contact list cleaning up/merging/de-duping (I worked in a weekly newspaper with over 100.000 subscribers). Techniques involved basically uses equilibrium of basic text processors, Word and Excell, as well as a lot of attention to detail. I am the best candidate for this project because I am used to do excel work through making grades for my students and school reports to be submitted to my direct supervisors. For the first part of this project, I am pretty sure I could finish it for 50 hours since I am also into beating deadlines in submitting grades for my student with less or no errors at all.
