I would like to get my workbook to read a stock symbol name in an ASCII file and insert that symbol into the correct cell, then save the workbook named with that symbol. all done in same sub directory workbook looks up name of stock and loads its data already without problem

Hi, Have a lot of experience with custom Excel solutions including trading and finance related jobs... PEDIGREE / PREVIOUS WORK My pedigree includes these (my own sites and my own developed software): My Excel and Access development site (I also teach development): vbafasttrack.com. I recently completed a project to build a Bitcoin trading application, a binomial and trinomial employee stock options model for a mid-tier US investment bank and have an Insto finance and trading background myself.
