Hi,
I would like someone to make a script, that they can run and compile a list of product id's, names, categories and prices, as well as the image from a few online grocery stores.
This is one example, the information i am after is the Product Name, Item #, Category (Below Item #), the image, and the price, and any other useful info on the site.
I would like the crawler to run through the whole site and index all information, and store it in a sql file, i would need a mysql dump at the end of all the information, and a zip of all the images.
If possible [login to view URL] should also be done, but i am not sure if they display the APN, or the UPC code (which i need the most, as well as the info for the products).
The crawlers, should give all products from every category, as well as the category the products came from, the more Australian supermarket sites you can crawl the better!
Another site that may be worth crawling is [login to view URL], they have data laid out differently, but it does contain barcode information. If you take a barcode, eg 9315596101002 and put it in google, you can see what data is returned from what shops.
This would need to be run on your computer, not mine.
Thanks.
PS. Possibly even if you use the barcode information from [login to view URL] to enter a search term in the homeshop site, to return the information (just for that site) would be alright, that site allows you to enter barcode information in the search term, and it will return the product. (Australian barcodes start with the first number 9)
ps: also in the sql dump it should include the source, eg what site the information came from.
I have a good expertise in working with crawler.
I have created may for crawling the products from online for below websites.
Bestbuy
CDW
Dell
Harristechnology and others
Give me the oppurtunity to perform this task.
Thanks and Regards
