Is this unit for serial production prototype or one time project? If serial production it must be cost focused and i dont want to use PIC because there are more cheaper controller than pic. Otherside detection sensors also important. Their accuracy must be high but their cost must be lower... Monitoring with seven segment, dot matris or graphic lcd? I design lots of industrial controller. Dont be hesitate, give me your scenario and control the all inputs and outputs...
