I am looking for someone with some programming and excel skills and although there is no database work involved in this job, it would be good if you have skills in this area also. A love of basketball is a plus.
Essentially what I would like is an excel document in which you select a future date in the NBA (usually the next day) and this results in a worksheet being created for every game on that particular day and each worksheet should contain the box score for the previous game in which each team played.
For example: If I select 12 January 2013, the first worksheet that is created is Knicks v Pacers and in this worksheet the box score for the Knicks from their previous game (Celtics v Knicks 7 Jan) and the box score for the Pacers from their previous game (Heat v pacers 8 Jan). The next worksheet would contain the Rockets v Celtics game and so on and so forth. Please see attached document for clarification.
Ideally the information will come from the ESPN website, although I suspect that ESPN scrapes the information from the NBA website to begin with.
Here is an example of the box score:

There is scope for future work if a good job is done, as well as a bonus if I feel that an excellent job has been done.
Thanks,
DK
