I have created many macros in Excel. However, I must admit that I have not understood your projects. From your description, I wondering why you cannot just insert a column and continue entering data.

As far as I understood your problem, you want to copy or import Excel files into a final file and limit the vertical height up until 30 rows. Would a certaiin header needs to be repeated everytime or is this not a requirement. I'm curious though, why you would need such a functionality. Is this for printing purposes or anything like that, because this could be solved way more easily. Anyhow, Excel (and VBA) is one of the main tools that I use everyday, so I think I will be able to quickly solve this for you.
