My name is Chris and, as you can see from my profile, I have 15+ years experience working with Excel/VBA and 13 years teaching them both (all levels). An Excel add-in can be created, with its own tab in Excel's ribbon. It will allow the user to select the file and sheet to apply the RegEx and then the column on this sheet (from a drop-down list). Then, it will read the regular expressions into another drop-down list, allowing the user to select from them and will apply them into the selected column, cutting the contents and pasting them into the corresponding column.
